Unlike markers or QR codes, which are artificial and require pre-defined visual cues, NFT relies on naturally occurring features in the environment. AR systems use computer vision algorithms to recognise these features and anchor virtual content to them. NFT enhances the flexibility of AR applications, enabling digital content to be placed in a wider range of environments without the need for explicit markers.
