extech AR Solutions has recently launched EdTechX, to assist university students receive a rich and engaging learning experience.

Developed in collaboration with Microsoft, the EdTechX programme transcends traditional classroom training with features including AR holograms, video streaming, data analytics and integrated assessments.

 Nextech CEO, Evan Gappelberg, stated:

"Today's generation of digitally native learners have forced institutions to digitise and evolve the way they deliver education. This has further been accelerated by school closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic," 

Also included in the EdTechX package is poster sessions to increase student engagement, virtual learning labs for remote training, convocations for celebrating graduations and faculty accomplishments, career fairs for connecting students and employers and more. The solution allows universities to analyse visitor behaviour in real time too. 

Ryerson University, Carnegie Mellon University, and the Black Student Fund are among the EdTechX platform's early adopters. When students visit the platform they may use live or on-demand videos with in-stream quizzes and completion certificates to earn credits. There are pre and post assessments for each course, and students can choose to beam a 3D hologram into their space for further analysis and experimentation.
