T solutions supplier and software developers NNTC, have recently announced a new partnership with Saiber Innovation Technologies (Saibertech), a maritime, ports and logistics consultancy, to provide a range of unique technological solutions for ports.

The new partnership means that NNTC will be delivering its MOORiNET vessel mooring and berth monitoring solution, which acts to simplify berthing operations and increase safety during port entrance for ships of any size, from small yachts to giant oil tankers, according to the company. The system is designed to be used by Harbour Masters or Marine Pilots for shore-based remote control of the mooring operations.

The MOORiNET solution incorporates augmented reality to display operational data to operators equipped with AR glasses running NNTC’s iFalcon Control software, giving operators extra information on vessels and berths, as well as additional control details, all displayed in their field of view.

Combined with the MOORiNET system, NNTC are also providing their SmartTwin digital twin-based solution to ports, which enables real-time remote management and controls for terminals and their machinery. The company states that its SmartTwin offering compliments terminal operation systems, and can be used for process management at both container and non-container terminals. Additionally, NNTC’s Digital Worker solution will be provided to help enhance HSE compliance with a range of capabilities such as employee tracking, geo-fencing, and social distancing management.

Senior Partner, Principal Consultant at Saiber Innovation Technologies, Pradeep Luthria stated:

“Saiber has assembled a truly unique combination of alliance partners, providing powerful, innovative solutions, be they for landside, waterside – ports, vessels & rigs. The formalized Saiber-NNTC alliance follows closely on the heels of the Salber-BSOL alliance and the Salber-CNB Logitech alliance, placing Saiber in a unique position to provide both total solutions or address specific requirements in a piecemeal fashion with remarkable scalability and economy.”

NNTC states that the company is focused on innovations and digital transformation projects including face recognition and video analytics, AR & VR, AI & robotics, IoT, drones and BIM.

Just last year the company announced it was working with Vuzix to integrate its iFalcon Face Control with the Vuzix Blade smart glasses.
