eauty technology solutions provider Perfect Corp. has announced a partnership with Avon México to integrate augmented reality and artificial intelligence through facial analysis technology in its YouCam Makeup app for more personalised consumer shopping experiences.
Avon hopes to utilise Perfect Corp’s AR and AI smart beauty technology part of its digital shopping experience, including virtual try-on and shade matching for Avon PowerStay foundations, eye makeup and lip products and Avon’s Advanced Techniques hair color collection.
The virtual beauty try-on is available to more than 400,000 Avon representatives across México. Perfect Corp.’s digital try-ons use Agile Face technology to identify facial features, including eye and eyebrow shapes, then incorporate AR and AI smart technology to recommend beauty products, hair colors and makeup styles.
