IT solutions supplier and software developers NNTC, have recently announced a new partnership with Saiber Innovation Technologies (Saibertech), a maritime, ports and logistics consultancy, to provide a range of unique technological solutions for ports.

The company’s Heads-Up technology enables an operator, wearing AR Glasses, to visualise where all the drones in the swarm are and display their health status and other essential information.

IKEA has opened up beta access to its new IKEA Studio, the latest of its augmented reality design apps which allows users to customize entire rooms with IKEA furniture and decor. 

It is rumoured that Walt Disney World has big plans for merging the theme parks with technology, due to a couple of recent patents combined with a source. Something as large scale as this may not come into fruition for years, however, it’s certainly something to watch for. 

Earlier this week, Apple announced the next event “Spring Loaded” for April 20 today. The announcement featured colourful artwork on the invitation as well as another AR Easter egg was included on the Apple Events webpage.
